A little bump doesn't mean you stay off the road

Wow! It has been a while since I've posted anything. We went up to the lake for 4 days during the 4th. It was nice to get away. I made one little mistake though. I thought I was doing so good! I packed my Heart Rate Monitor, my workout clothes, my mp3 player and arm thingy majigger to hold it in, and my waist water bottle holder. I was gonna run each morning! When I was getting all my "gear" ready the night we got there. I was so upset! I didn't pack my running shoes! I could not believe it! How could I be so lame! So, Jonathan and I would go for a stroll now and then in our flip flops, which I guess, is better than nothing. I brought turkey burgers for myself, hoping I would be able to eat well. Let me just say, I ate well for about one night. Waking up the next morning I did well also. It was the chips that I could not resist while playing games. What is it about snacking while playing games that makes me think you can't have one without the other? Anyway, I ended up having S'mores that evening too. Well, everybody knows that on the 4th of July if you have a fire going, you must roast marshmallows, right? Yikes, I was not very proud of myself, but was able to let myself have some fun with friends and family. Yes, I over-indulged, but forgave myself and am now back on track. Maybe that is why I haven't been on. But ya know, everyone fails. You just have to get back at it! I have noticed in the past that when I mess up, I give up. Not anymore! I am worth more than that! So, as far as progress goes......this morning I weighed in at an even 200. I am down 7 pounds. Not bad, not bad at all and I feel GREAT!
